Learn A Bach Invention in 10 Days
A Step by Step Practice Plan from Start to Finish
Learn How to Play or Teach a Bach Invention Step by Step
In this course, Elizabeth Gutierrez breaks down the process of learning a Bach invention into easily digestible practice steps. Each lesson builds on previous lessons in a way that will soon have you or your students playing a Bach invention confidently.
How the 10-Day Practice Plan Works
This course is a Drip content course meaning that each day's assignment will be released at 12:01 UTC (or 6:01AM Central Time) beginning ON THE DAY that you enroll in the course and will continue each day after for a total of 10 days.
SO.... do not enroll in the course until you are certain that you are ready to begin your 10 days of practice OR you may desire to enroll right away so as to receive the assignments one by one and save for later. The 10 daily assignments will appear here on this website. Just log in at the top right corner with your username/password, click into your Bach course, and you'll see each daily practice assignment appear in the Curriculum day by day. Once they're all "dripped in" you'll have the entire practice plan to use again and again as you like.
I look forward to learning from you about your experience with this "Drip Content" feature and the practice plan itself, so don't hesitate to email me with comments! I may release a more detailed version of this course in the future, so do inform me of what you'd like to know more of as you work on your Bach Invention.
*** If you think I should enable the system to send you a daily email to inform you when each course section becomes available, please let me know. These types of daily prompts into your Inbox may not be desired, but I am willing to enable them if you think others might prefer this feature and if it would help you. Otherwise, just check back here inside the course to view your new daily practice assignment.
Enjoy! And let me hear from you!

"The 10-Day Bach Practice Plan is a challenging and thorough way to learn a Bach invention in a limited amount of time. As an undergraduate music major, this plan also helped to solidify and refine practice habits that carry over into different practicing for other pieces."
- Cellie Buchanan, Piano Major, Baylor University
